The romance has had its ups and downs in recent times.

Indian PM welcoming his Israeli counterpart

India and Israel have not been the best friends in past but now we are witnessing an atypical fantasy. Two persuasive leaders of their nations have met twice within six months is a matter of unusual interests and consequences. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s act of withholding from the protocol to personally welcome his Israeli counterpart at the airport has put a new question mark for the observers. Additionally, the words which were repeatedly used such as “historic”, “aisle-breaking”, and “marriage made in heavens” indicated that the ice has been broken between the two nations who were firmly construed at their stance once. However, now the steps ensured that the future of these countries is associated with bilateral cooperation and they have a long term design to ingrain in it.

Comparatively, the visit has cleared the apprehensions of curbs between the relations. The two prime ministers have discussed number of issues ranging from agriculture and water to security and healthcare. Benjamin Netanyahu is the second prime minister of Israel who visited India since the opening of bilateral ties. Not to forger, this visit is a response to a six month earlier visit paid by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Israel, who was the first Indian PM to visit Israel.

By and large, the latest affair between India and Israel is enabling us to foresee the special purpose and potential in their relationship which was an unfamiliar thing since 1992, when two states inaugurated their full and precise diplomatic bandage.
