China’s One Belt, One Road Cannot be One-Way

France is ready to invest in Chinese markets, says Emanuel Macron.

French President Emanuel Macron yesterday said that areas should work together on Beijing’s initiative. Moreover, he added that a project of this capacity and vision cannot remain “on-way”.

Unveiled in2013, the projects aims to connect China through road with the other parts of the worlds specifically, Pakistan, South East Asia and Central Asia, and even further to the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Mr. Xi Jinping, along with his first lady Peng Liyuan played as a host to the French President Emanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte at a guesthouse in Beijing yesterday. Mr. Xi was confident that bilateral ties with go on a long way in a new era.

China also appreciated France on its interest in the peculiar project and ensured that it is willing to work closely with France. Additionally Xi Jinping safeguarded a win-win ground for both of the nations. France also wants to boost its cooperation under the frame work of this project.

Earlier, French President arrived at XI’an an eastern departure point of the ancient Silk Road, hoping that France will play its very best of part to reestablish EU-China relations.

“After all the ancient Silk Roads were never only Chinese,” the French leader told audience, containing students and businessmen at the Daming palace, the Royal residence of Tang Dynasty for more than 200 years. He added.

“The road can only be shared, if they are roads, they are not meant to be one-way only.”
 

Earlier in may 2017, Mr. Xi promised to grant 124 Billion US Dollars for a colossal plan. Moreover, it was denied by the western capitalist powers, pointing that it will only associate with Chinese influence in the area. Additionally, they intended that Beijing has no desire to spread affluence.

Mr. Macron, who earlier during his campaign pledged to visit China once in a year, stressed that projects by China are in favors of France or any other European country to improve infrastructure and culture. In addition, he said, this can only be achieved when work is done with cooperation and candor.

Meanwhile, British Finance minster has also admitted his country wants to have stronger bilateral ties with China over one-belt, one-road project. Not to mention, Britain has ensured it’s giving up from European Union.

Earlier, Macron has warned the Brussels to review and bring more rigid rules about Chinese anti-dumping policy. But, now sitting in Xi’an he hopefully said that Chinese and French relations could reach at new heights with increased trust and avoided misconceptions. Additionally, the fear among European nations about China has been acknowledged as a delusion.
